Wow! Thank you folks, I was beginning to wonder, its taken off like a weed, no sign of flowers yet but I will keep you posted,

I love geraniums, and thank to Bekkie ( I think it was) I now have a complete border of them, the blue and purple ones are flowering now.

Can anyone remember send me a root of Rozanne or similar, I lost all my old PM'S and cant remember who sent what.

I do have a gorgeous Geum about to flower and I know Victoria Sponge sent that to me, so thank you everyone.

Nice colours in that border! Very harmonious.

I have just come in from planting one of those G. Palmatums. I bought it at our local community garden last week for £1 image. They told me that they do tend to die off in a hard winter but if you let it self seed you will have them forever!

Jo, they are all lupins, all from seeds, about 4to 5 ft tall, there is a blue delphinium on the extreme left of the photo.

My geranium did survive the winter, Daryl,  stayed green as well. It turned out a bit purlpe in the photo, its actually pink, I took it on the phone and the colour is not true.

Had I known it was going to be that big I would have put it back a bit.

If you look at my entry on the Garden Pictures 2015, you can get an idea of its size and the colour is true.
