Is it too late to start growing any new plants next week. I haven't had the chance to do as much as I was hoping to and I hope its not too late. Any suggestions for late plants or ideas?
I don't think it is too late at all.I am just getting going with putting annuals in the garden.Plenty of plants available in garden centres and supermarkets. If we are lucky with a warm autumn some plants will just keep going till the frosts!

Any plants really. We have a cottage garden style garden although it is rather unruly. We already have plenty of hardy geraniums in, would the best idea be to get plugs and plant them straight in?
Though I sowed the bulk of the direct seeds yesterday, I haven't got round to sowing some of the heat-lovers yet or transplanting tender veg. It's still frosty at night here.
There's a 'what to do now' section on this site. Most of the seed vendors have sow in sections.
Look up your last frost date and don't put out anything tender unprotected.
