9cm plant - how to deal with it

    The little one could fare better, as Dove says, they are only barely just coming out now, so the big one has obviously been 'dragged up'  in a hot house to get it like that, may not stand the cold nights.

    I will agree that it's not good value - I'd keep potting that on for a couple of years before planting it out.


    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

    Pot it up and it'll be a decent plant by the end of the year. 

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    My advice with on-line plant suppliers is to only  buy the plants you cannot get elsewhere, I always hunt through the GCs first

    But we'll done for complaining
