peacock orchid problem

i bought some peacock orchid bulbs (Acidanthera bicolor, sometimes called Gladiolus callianthus) over the winter and planted them in some decent compost/leaf mold mix in large pots about 4 inches down in around late February I then put them in my greenhouse as I know they are not particularly frost hardy.

this weekend with no signs of growth on the surface I had a dig in one of the pots and the bulbs are still there, solid with no signs of rot - but no signs of growth either? as in they look exactly the same as when I planted them?

am I just being impatient? or should they be growing by now?

Mine have just started showing in the pot. Give them a bit more time. image

if they are supposed to start showing in the next two weeks or so I would've expected to see some signs of growth, roots and shoots starting out, but there was literally nothing?

i'm just wondering if they needed some sort of stratification in cold or something to kick start them?
