We've had terrible plants from Hayloft. Trouble is if you go for offers they print the name of the supplying nursery as inconspicuously as possible.

Anyway suffice to say we avoid Parkers, T&M and Hayloft as much as possible.

Crocus, not cheap, but they supply "Chelsea" and plants have a one year guarantee

Verdun, on your recommendation I have just visited Paddocks website and my credit card has suffered greatly.  You're a very bad person image

Thanks for you comments, has anyone had any experience with Van Meuwen online purchases?

I had 3 angels fishing rods half price from Hayloft recently. Good sized plants in 9cm pots, well wrapped and protected from damage. I get most plants from Butters up near my pa in law, and also from West Acre (Dove you know this place). Or grow from seed. I will look at Paddocks and may end up agreeing with DyersEnd.

I have been looking round lots of online nurseries, good plants at OK prices but my problem is delivery to the Isle of Wight, there is usually a hefty surcharge. Not sure why as all the major couriers come to and from here at no extra cost.

suttons are brilliant for plants, they come well packed and healthy.  They are cheap and arrive quite small but thrive nearly instantly they are planted.  not suitable if you want instant impact, but great if you can give them a season
