? When is it " Generally "agreed that the threat of frosts has gone and its safe to plant out

I have followed the dates on seed packets and lost courgettes , tomatillos and caulis

 

Everyone is just trying to be Happy.....So lets help Them.

    End of May up here (Scotland) NewBoy. If you're in a cold or exposed site anywhere I'd say best to wait until then. image

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Mind you, I keep a close eye on the local weather forercast and I also record the maximum and minimum temperatures in the garden each day/night and compare them with the forecast max and min - so I know how sheltered the garden is.


    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

    Dont forget to take into account how exposed  you are or how rural and the altitude
