Winter Bedding

Can anyone suggest what i do with my winter bedding now that the summer bedding is about to take over as my Viola's and Pansies are still lovely and i don't really want to throw them away.

Pot them up?  Give them a good soak (if they're not already), tomorrow dig them up and plop them into a pot along with some container compost, trim off any leggy bits, give them a good feed, and enjoy the show.

  • I think nutcutlet and Dovefromabove may be right with this weather we're having, but i must admit i like Lyn's idea,Will they carry on and prosper for a long time or will they give up about September Lyn?

You'll be the first person who does - we're all still learning, however long we've been doing it image

I have never been very successful with reporting pansies / violas , although it goes against the grain , I treat them as annuals and ditch them , sorry to be so negativeimage
