got lots of red beatles  on my lilys whats best to get rid of them

    And check for larvae! They are the revolting black things on the stems and leaves of the plants. Remove those too as soon as you see them!  They eat the plant and cover it and themselves with their poo! Horrible image . They complete ruined some of my lilies last year!

    Provado ultimate bug killer. One application now will last for six weeks, and have worn off by the time they flower. That gets the beetles and the revolting larvae.

    Provado is said to kill bees?

    That why I give it a squirt when the beetles first appear. It has worn off by the time they  flower. There are lots of bees in my garden. I dont spray anything else, I let the birds and other insects sort them.

    I do the same as Fidget, otherwise I'd have no lilies. I tried just picking the devils off one year and not a chance of getting them all they ruined my lilies.
