Cherry Blossom Tree Pruning Help Needed!

Hi there, I have inherited a cherry blossom tree with my new house and the previous owners had chopped down the main trunk so now it's a bunch of small branches shooting out of the ground so it's more of a bush than a tree. It's pretty, still blooms, but I'm just wondering if I should prune it somehow to encourage it to be a tree, or whether this will be fine for the health of the plant?
If I should prune it, any idea how? Thanks!

Thanks pansyface! It is really pretty still so I'm glad it'll be fine the way it is!
