Can anyone suggest a tonic. The plants were strong and healthy when i planted out. No frosts in the south west but a few cold nights. The plants are looking yellow. Some have died. They are in need of a boost, i was wondering about seaweed liquid fertilizer

I assume you've hardened them off properly prior to plunging them into the cold soil? Any idea what the underlying issue might be? Hopefully our resident Sweetpea expert will be around soon.. you might try posting on that thread too.
Liquid seaweed to give them a boost right now, then tickle some FBB in around them and water it in well. If they're kept in pots too long they go hungry quite quickly. I'm in Mid Wales and mine are in the ground already and doing well. People wait too long to plant them IMHO, they are hardier than most people give them credit for.
Thank you for the replies. Normally I grow from seed This year i bought Sarah Raven sweet peas on offer in the telegraph.Winter sown so i planted out into the growing place.fortunately i have sown some seeds .They have grown into healthy plants so all is not lost. Only my bank balance. A lesson to be learnt. Grow your own
