Stinging nettles

Help! How do I get rid of stinging nettles for good!!

    Weedkiller, or pull them up, which is a simple job when the soil is moist.



    Remember they are a really important food plant for caterpillars so leave some.



    They usually indicate the most fertile soil in the garden.

    I tried leaving some a few years ago they started to spread so I dug them all up, that is the best way

    Dig around the roots, stick them in a pot and bung them down the bottom of the garden. Harvest half for the compost heap and leave half for the caterpillars.

    Don't! Let them grow and harvest them to enrich your compost image
