Hi everyone Im new here and a complete beginner when it comes to gardening. I recently just made my own indoor greenhouse- fingers crossed my seeds actually grow!!

Im looking for some advise on 2 rose plants I have. One to me looks like it may bloom, there other just looks plain dead image. Can anyone give me any tips or advise to bring my plants back to life?

Any help is much appreciated, as I  said I have no idea about this kind of stuff but would really like to learn.

scratch the bark with your fingernail and if it's green underneath, it's alive: if brown underneath, try further down until you find green. If no green found, I'd fear for the worst.

The less lively one has still got green stems and dormant buds. There is dead wood there which needs pruning out, but it should be ok if it's planted out asap.  Add well rotted manure, bonemeal, and root grow around the rootball when planting. Water with 2 gallons of water on planting, AND weekly watering till the Autumn regardless of weather. That will give the best chance to both. Roses take a year to establish properly before they give of their best. and watch the pruning video's in the how to section on this site. Bad pruning will kill a rose so learn quickly.
