toadstools in my lawn
Hi Pauline - toadstools in your lawn aren't harmful - they're just the fruiting bodies of underground mycelium which breaks down organic matter in the soil. They're unlikely to have been caused by anything that you've done - I just regard them as part of the great wonders that nature shows us.
If they haven't disappeared when it's time to mow your lawn again, just knock them down and sweep them off with a broom - they can go on the compost heap.
