Leatherjackets
So tonight whilst out hunting for slugs I came across funny looking worm/caterpillar things - after some investigation and help from my dad I have established these to be leather jackets - and I mean there is loads! I am counting approx 15-20 on a 4x2 path! My plants are covered in them and my grass is a soggy muddy swamp ( I thought this was due to the heavy rain in the past few days!) now I have only dug out flower beds in the past 2 weeks so I'm guessing I have disturbed them! Can anyone tell me how to get rid of these and how long it takes also can I use something to kill the slugs too? I found 88 tonight haha!
thanks
