    Could it be a poppy of some sort?

    I have an Oriental poppy that has similar leaves.

    Looks a bit like Ragwort, but there are some wild poppies with leaves like the first photo although the shoot in the 2nd photo looks more like Oxeye daisy - is that shoot part of the same plant or one growing through it?

    A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

    Its not ragwort Bob, I have that in the garden already. Maybe a poppy of some species then and yes I think there is some Oxeye daisy thereabouts. Isn't it wonderful how plants self seed like that.
