courgettes

in Fruit & veg
Morning guys
My courgettes are getting too big for their pots and their next move should be large buckets on the raised veg bed . Not much sun forecast for the next week would anyone take a chance anyway? Also they are going a little yellow leaved so need to do something

I'd think , unless you're way up North you should be ok, but have some fleece handy
I think I will Hosta
but I might leave it until after lunch Verdun has blown his unwanted cloudy wet weather this way
I don't mind gardening in the rain but sniping and tying up not digging and planting
Too big to stay in the porch.
Mine to Darren nearly in flower looking quite sorry for them selves I've grown 4
didn't expect them all to survive
Mine have been out for a week now (Scotland) but each night I've put the bottom drawers from old 'fridges over them to keep them nice and cosy.
Also means I can put a few of the ferric phosphate slug pellets in with them ... with no chance of the birds picking them up. They are gone by morning so I'm assuming those slugs attracted by the courgette plants have succumbed!
A single bee creates just one twelfth of a teaspoon of honey in her lifetime
My courgettes are in a cold GH and will be ready to go out in about 2 weeks.
I have just put my courgettes out, as they were getting too big for the shelf in the mini- greenhouse. I have made cloches for them out of old hanging-basket frames with fleece stapled over it (bubble wrap also works well), and will cover them up at night for a week or so.
Hi Logan
take a look
Still in the conservatory being cared for
the back one hasn't moved on(BUT hasn't died) the other has flowers and baby cues
but I haven't got room in the greenhouse yet it's full up with hanging baskets ,troughs, and the thousand and one tomatoes I've grown
