    At least its edible in small quantities used as spinach! Used to be used to fatten poultry, hence the name and has been around since the Iron Age!

    guys ive just researched it and it looks okay and not considered a weed in the states so in the UK is it possible to keep the lambs quarters at a smaller level?

    I depends where you grow it Ryan.  Each plant produces thousands of seeds and in the wrong place (like my veg plot!) it becomes a bit of a nightmare requiring constant hoeing.

    A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

    Thanks bob I will think very carefully about where I'm going to plant it image and is there a recommended quantity to how much you can eat
