cabbage white butterflies

Is 25mm mesh chicken wire small enough to prevent butterflies getting to my cabbages?

If not what does anyone recommend please?

    I used 1cm x 1cm last year and they still got through, so I switched to debris netting

    Its ok I've found debris mesh on another site.

    I'd forgotten I have some enviromesh that I won in a competition so I'll give that a go.
