jersey plants
Has anyone used jersey plants before have you had any problems. I ordered some coreopsis a month ago and I sent them a email yesterday saying " you send me emails every few days saying buy this and buy that but I did buy something a month ago and im still waiting for it " the reply was you have been removed from our mailing list. Am I stupid into thinking that they might have had the courtesy to look into my delivery and where it is and maybe even a apology

Rather than complain about the excess of promotional mails inviting you to buy more you should send a single subject mail enquiring politely about your order stating when you made it and asking when they expect to deliver. You could also suggest a deadline of 10 to 14 days for delivery or a refund.
If that deadline passes with no results, send another mail referring to the first and tell them then that a lack of adequate response will lead to your reporting them to Trading Standards.
I will never use them again after all the plants I bought from them died fairly quickly after delivery (which were all bashed). The customer care could not have cared less and told me that they have no guarantee of plants after initial delivery. So they can can go whistle. I would cancel your order and buy from a reputable company.
if they have a Facebook page you could always complain on there if the email doesn't work, companies had bad press in a visible place
If I do need to buy plaug plants, which has been rare, but I always buy from Jersey Plants, I love their tiny plugs to bring on and never had a problem. Usually a few spares as well.
I ordered from another company once and the plants came direct from Jersey plants so I assume they supply for other companies.
I always think it better to write politely to complain, they dont respond very well to sarcasm, threats or anything else nasty, probably why I have no qualms with ordering from them or J. Parkers. A nice email always gets a better response.
Which jersey plant company ? There are two that I know of . The one I deal with is top notch .I swear by it .I have spent near on £150 throughout each year, birthday and Christmas money always goes on oneside for Jersey plants . I will pm you the one I use.
I have ALWAYS found very good customer care from them , replacements due to the post throwing them about very prompt.
This doesn't sound like them at all , can't understand it.
Not sure about that, but they may supply them, its much warmer in Jersey so they may well grow the seeds, but I was under the impression they were a family run outfit and were independant.
I have always had very good service from Gardening D....., based in Jersey, healthy plants which grow on well.
My only gripe is that they now advertise FREE p & p, but I know that they upped their seedling price by £1 per tray at the same time, which does mean I end up paying more, since I order several trays.
It must be very difficult for them, having no control over the way their plants are handled by the delivery couriers; they can only rely on us, the paying customer to give them feedback to react on.
And yes to obelixx, honey catches more flies than vinegar!
