    even though my plastic small greenhouse is fastened with a tight bungy strap to the wall the wind was so strong it managed to move itself enough to rock the plants over so spent an hour putting all the plants back in their pots and bringing the whole thing indoors, i live in a bay too so the wind was even worse

    on a positive spin £20 blew in my garden last night and i found it under a plant, it's probably mine haha as i'm always putting notes in my back pocket along with gardening knives etc but was still nice to find it.

    I spent Thursday to Sunday sitting in a marquee on Lyme Regis beach for the annual fossil festival. I have only just thawed out completely and it wasn't because I'd gone in a T-shirt.  Still, at least the marquee stayed put which was a blessing though it several times felt like it was going out to sea at any moment.  Chip  and hot butties shops were doing a roaring trade but I think the ice cream jobbies might have been a bit down
