Scaredy Cat Plant

Novice7Novice7 Posts: 56

Hi just been and purchased this plant for one of my tubs.

The tub does contain a honeysuckle plant will the 'scaredy cat plant coleus canina' affect the honeysuckle.

The reason I purchased this is a cat from a few doors away is now using this container as a toilet 'yuk'

Or can anyone suggest or have any ideas to deter this bloomin cat image

Thanks

Stick a package of Poundland stainless steel forks into the compost, tines pointing up.  It will look decorative, but also deter the cat.  Or maybe some BBQ skewers, some pretty beads glued midway down to make it look decorative, but with the sharp ends still exposed.

Or a crushed rock mulch on top the soil.

  • Whole peppercorns seem to work too, not sure of the effect on the plants though.image

The plants make absolutely no difference to cats, they love it. My daughter will vouch for that!!
