I haven't , but I noticed on the jobs for the week section that it is time to give a liquid feed to Rhubarb.  I was wondering if I could use Tomato food, if not, what is a good product to use?.

    Thanks in advance.

I have put chicken manure on mine and watered it in and it has really gone mad.

Not tomato feed - that is to encourage flowering and fruiting - you want foliage not flowers.

Chicken manure is fine, farmyard manure is fine, Fish Blood & Bone is fine. image

Compost &manure you can use a high potash food later on in the summer.

Having some new plants in a week or so from DT brown called poulton's pride

crops for 10months of the year doesn't go dormant in the summer.

Loads of home made compost including urine, and blood fish and bone early in the year. It is very happy. And so am I. image
