I haven't , but I noticed on the jobs for the week section that it is time to give a liquid feed to Rhubarb. I was wondering if I could use Tomato food, if not, what is a good product to use?.
Thanks in advance.
I have put chicken manure on mine and watered it in and it has really gone mad.
Not tomato feed - that is to encourage flowering and fruiting - you want foliage not flowers.
Chicken manure is fine, farmyard manure is fine, Fish Blood & Bone is fine.
Loads of home made compost including urine, and blood fish and bone early in the year. It is very happy. And so am I.
I use a general purpose fertiliser such as growmore. Works for me
