i bought what was labelled as 'Ispahan' from Aldi a few months ago, it's planted and doing well... but I strongly suspect it's not Ispahan, it has 7 leaves, it is a rose but laybe more like a wild type? I bought one from there last year labelled ' hybrid tea pink favourite' it flowered and looks like rosa canina..hmmm. I didn't learn did I? thought it was too good to be true. Anyone else been foiled?

can't wait to find out what this is,wonder if it could be rugosa...i'll let you know! another thing that's popped up are my ordered pink tulips ( parkers last autumn) have flowered and they're yellow!! I do not like yellow and will now have to try to dig them up from amongst the white ones that were already in grrr

I bought a couple of double pink paeonies from Tesco a few years back and they were not the overblown pale pink delights I expected. They had single dark pink blooms and were rather leggy specimens. Its made me wary of supermarket plants ever since.

A few years ago bought a apricot tree to put in a pot from Thompson & Morgan turned out that it was a peach they replaced it 3 times every time it was a peach and every time the condition of the plants was getting worse so in the end we asked for our money back which they did with no fuss.
