Corkscrew hazel

Hello, my corkscrew hazel has got some straight branches growing out form the centre, last year I chopped them off this year it looks like they are growing more.

Any ideas of what I can do with it please?

Just cut them out, otherwise they'll take over.  Sometimes corkscrew hazel will tend to revert like this, but if you cut the straight branches out as soon as possible there's no real problem.
