I am re potting an olive tee, it's about 4' tall, in amongst the roots is a cluster of yellow eggs? They are about the size of bramble berries and ideas please

Could they be those slow release fertilizer thingummies? Some of those look like small yellow eggs and growers often put them into pots with plants. Just google for pictures of "slow release fertilizer", and see if they look like what you've found

Edd, they look like your photo but just brighter yellow, we've removed them and repotted it so fingers crossed, thanks
