Leggy Pansies

I have some Pansies that have self seeded over the past few years and although they are still very pretty  they seem quite 'leggy'. Can I cut them down a bit or do I have to wait until they have finished flowering? Also, when would be a good time to divide them?  Many Thanks

I usually cut mine back to about five inches tall when they get particularly leggy.  They'll soon send out new growth and then flowers.  Maybe give them a bit of a feed after pruning?  Not sure the best time to divide them.. I just generally do it when ever suits me. image

Thanks Blue Onion, they are currently in flower, so wasn't sure whether to do it now.
