Plant/weed identification
I'm trying to identify a viney looking plant/weed, which has sprouted=
up in one of my indoor pot plants. We're a bit baffled because we have not=
hing else like it and having trawled the net yesterday I can't find anythin=
g that looks very similar except a Jasmine of some sort or a white version =
of Deadly Nightshade.
It has had one very small white flower and there was a small cluster of bud=
s at the top getting ready to bloom. As I said the stalk was green and look=
ed a little viney, the leaves were medium sized and bright green. I have re=
moved the whole thing from the house, as in my searchings I became anxious =
that it might be Deadly Nightshade, and we have two small grandchildren.
I wanted to ask, is this likey? I've bagged the plant up and put it in the =
bin- is this ok as a way to deal with DN if indeed that is what it is? I've=
wiped the area with disinfectant wipes, should I do anything else to the g=
eneral area?As you may be able to tell, I'm not really a gardener. But I'm =
also keen to know if there are any other suggestions as to what this plant =
might be, so that I'll know it next time. I did take some photos but I'm no=
t sure they are much help.Any advice greatly welcomed!thank youMarion

Could you post a picture using the green tree icon.
If in doubt access a decent picture of it in a book or on the internet. Bryony is the most likely culprit. The red berries are poisonous and it seeds everywhere.
Deadly nightshade is unlikely to turn up in a pot in the house. Onece the plant is gone there is no poison left behind,
Disinfectants kill bacteria they don't affect poisons. It's gone, stop worrying.
Without a photo there's no chance of a definite ID

Its the straggly one poking out above the money plant that I'm asking about
Can't really see well enough but enough to say not deadly nightshde or briony.
It may be something in the nightshade family, black nightshde maybe, Solanum nigrum. Come to think of it I have heard that referred to as deadly nightshade, (along with all the other nightshades) but it's not.
