IPad spellcheck problems

My spellcheck is awful, anyone else have that issue using iPad on the forum? I have no issues on any other website or other forums. It's extremely frustrating, I'm forever retyping thing that it replaces with random crap.

I agree with pansy face predictive text is annoying on phones as well. I can't use it, but I think that's more to do with failing brain cells! My beans are all emerging now. Been planting beans since I was 18, nearly 65 now and all the roots are showing, I've planted them all upside down! Think I'll put the kettle on!
I used to have a problem with the predictive text but learnt to watch the black bar at the top of the screen and click on the correct prediction to save typing the entire word, sooooooooooo lazy I know but I also think it knows me well and now predicts the word clematis by the time I'm at m, I've done that many Google searches
Always switched off on my gadgets.
I just find it odd, as it's only this forum I have trouble with the spellcheck.. nothing else. With email it functions perfectly, with other websites it's fine.. even with fill in text boxes. For some reason it goes haywire here. Glad to know I'm not the only one though!
I don't dare turn off spell check.. I'm a 'right' brained artist, my spelling is about on par with a year 3 student. I see words as shapes.. and that 'shape' has a meaning (like hieroglyphics).. and I can usually see there is something wrong with the shape when it's spelled incorrectly, but usually can't guess exactly how to fix it. I don't pronounce things in my head when I read, unless I'm editing. When I was in school, I was in the top group for reading comprehension (read a text, answer questions).. but was also sent to a special reading classroom as I was unable to read aloud. Even as an adult, I hate reading aloud to groups (although reading daily to my own children has helped me improve heap loads). We're all a bit different.. and I thank the stars for spellcheck options.
