One looks like Beech, the one in leaf, the other is grape.

Sorry which is
which and where can I grow the grape?
Looks more like a Lime to me, not quite narrow enough for Beech. Mind you, I'm wrong at least half the time.
Is it any use or shall I compost it? I'll try and look up info on growing a grape
Thanks guys I'll now go off and start another project
(won't tell the chairman though
)
It might be fun to grow the vine as a climber for it's foliage, but unless you know the variety it'll be difficult to know what conditions it needs to produce grapes - some are much better inside.
The beech/lime or whatever tree it is will be a big tree - do you want a big tree? If you do then plant it, if you don't then chop it up and compost it.

Not beech, could be lime, not convinced

Starting from the original post - whatever it is, it's not a currant - are we all agreed about that?
