plant out peas
in Fruit & veg
My peas are doing well in the (plastic) greenhouse, but when can I plant them out? Also the same question please for my French beans, which are growing very fast. By the way, thanks to all who advised on tomatoes. They are doing really well in large pots in plastic greenhouse-- managed 3 large pots. So.....what about my peas??

Hi lemone. Here in Cornwall I planted out direct my 'Bijou' sugar peas and 'Charmette' pettit pois in February and they are galloping away. French beans require a little more warmth so do not plant them out if the weather is really cold. Also, do net them until they are growing well because certain birds take great delight in ripping them apart as a free meal!
