I have a lovely salix (pink) but this year it seems as dead as a doorpost
has gone all brown/dark red and has no buds My neighbours has done the same Any answers Please

Its a salix hakuro nikishi tree with variegated leaves (Green / white) and pink
Do I need to protect my salix over winter? If so how?
