Hi everyone, Just wondering when best time to plant Zantedeschia and polianthes tubers? As don't have space to pot up in conservatory so was going to put straight out in garden But still a little frosty most mornings was going to wait til mid may to plant them out? Also how tall do zantedeschias get? And I've got a replacement standard rose from jparkers after a terrible first one with no growth atall was going to plant on Sunday how deep should I plant the standard rose? As Ive heard to deeply encourages suckers. Thank you. Sam

  • Not sure about the others but the rose - as they are normally grafted to a strong root stock the "bulge" where they have grafted it should ALWAYS be above the soil line otherwise they get damp and start to rot away, usually the pot should be a guide to how deep. Hope it helps, asked me boss just to double check as he has over 40 yrs experience x
