Weeds are flowers, too, once you get to know them.”

  • Hi Lily, not sure if I read your response correctly, I meant that I had already bought mine online with my other seeds from Suttons, I hadn't seen the programme site so didn't apply for the free seeds!

I have had "sorry" emails for both I applied for image

One of the biggest problems is that it wasn't just people who watch GW or use this site that applied for them- the offer appeared on at least two of the most popular money saving sites and across facebook, so most of us would never have stood a chance

I got no where eitherimage but i couldnt get thru till the next morning as there was no submit part to the application. T+M said you can get all sunflower seeds for half price at the moment and free postage if you spend £10 or more across their whole range until sunday night. Worth seeing if there is any thing I want.image

  • I'd started a thread about this too but I'll jump in on this one, I got my seeds today!

  • If Fruitcake is right, and the offer appeared 'on at least two of the most popular money saving sites and across facebook', then it's no surprise that actual proper gardeners may have missed out.

If that's the case, then the companies involved, even if it's not their fault, will have only boosted their mailing list with freebie grabbing grabbers, which won't add much to the value of their long-term potential customer base.
