Is it possible to divide Sweet Williams?

 The tag disappeared over winter but I think that's what I planted here image

    They look like sweet williams. There may be a lot of plants there, it which case you could spread them out a bit. It's getting a bit late to interfere really, they'll be coming up to flower soon and they may flop over and you'll lose the best display. I don't think they divide and that would surely upset them anyway

    Thank you both. I think I planted two or three plugs so will wait until after they've flowered and perhaps move a couple then image

    They're biennials Lena. After they flower, they die. So save or sow the seedimage

    Ooh thanks Nut - I didn't know. Will have a go a collecting the seed after flowering then image

    They're easy from seed and you get lorts more than you get in a packetimage
