lawn discoloration

How is it best to get rid of a small patch of grass discolouration caused by a lady dog please. I have asked her not to do it but she does not take any notice. I thought of buying "get it green spray" but the reviews are not good

There was a thread about that a few weeks back.  I think the general idea was most methods take a lot of work (more than taking the time to train her to pee on a gravel/sand corner of your yard).  You could dump water on the spot immediately after she pees - every single time, or you can grow grass in trays and replace the entire spot with new turf as necessary, or you could feed her some sort of questionable dietary additive that would change the chemistry of the urine so it didn't kill off the grass (which may or maynot work).

Personally, I'd work on training her to pee where you want.  It will take a few weeks of consistent work.. but then that's it, you're rid of the spots for the rest of your dogs life.  Raw hamburg works a treat, just a little pinch every time she pees in the correct spot.  I just kept it in a little plastic baggie so the dog got it instantly upon success, and I didn't have it all over my fingers if they didn't do it.. the baggie just went back into the fridge.
