fruit question

Hi all. Ive just bought a rasberrie and a blackberrie plant im hoping for some advice to get the best out of them. Also this is my first year of growing a family pear tree and for some reason i have no flowers just leaves. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance

    If it's a autumn raspberry you can get two crops from them, first one in the autunm leave the canes until the next early summer and they will fruit again on the same canes then cut them off and do the same with the new canes.

    whats the  best mulch to use for rasberries ?

    anything it just keeps in moisture and suppresses weeds

    This year I mulched the rasps with a pile of thatch and moss that my husband had raked out of the lawn. It seems to have worked well, as it was drier and less inclined to go soggy than grass cuttings. But some years they have done very well without mulching.
