hydrangeas

Hi all I have two hydrangeas in pots I bought them the colour blue now they are pink , I realise that I have to change the p h balance of the soil , and I was told that coffee waste can do this for me but how much to add to the soil I don't know. Is there anyone who could advise me on this thank you
