Heathers Going Brown
Hi All,
I recently bought some heathers and heaths and am growing them in pots. They were doing quite well for a few weeks, but the Calluna vulgaris ones have all started to go brown over the past few days. The Erica carnea ones are looking fine and so is the Erica cinerea. In fact they are putting on plenty of new growth. But I am worries about the Calluna vulgaris. Could it be over or under watering? Which of them needs more water?
Thank you very much for any help!

Thanks Verdun.
Yes, I made up a mixture which is mainly peat and perlite. There is also some general purpose soil in the mix. Do you think that would be ok?
Can't get John Innes here, that's why I mixed my own. But I could try a different mix. All that having been said, I think I just figured it out. I fertilised them with a couple of weeks ago.... just realised that seaweed extract was probably a VERY bad idea. Doh.
