Plants & Flowers Unattractive to Rabbits
Our local churchyard has many graves attended by individuals wishing to remember their loved ones through tended grave gardens and vases of fresh cut flowers. Unfortunately the local rabbit population also enjoys eating all of the these plants and flowers, much to everyone's disappointment. Has anyone any suggestions for both plants and flowers that they know rabbits will not touch. Any responses will be most gratefully received.

I would try phlomis because the stems are quite thick and sharp and the flowers are around the stem and quite tough seed heads. Euphorbia because of the sap.
Have they been eating geraniums? I don't think they would suffer too much and they will flower again.
You could also try the small ornamental grasses, there shouldn't be anything for them to munch on there.
If they are eating flowers in vases, get some of those holders that will keep the vases up out of rabbit height. I've seen them for along the isle at weddings. Sort of a metal stake sticking up with a circle at the top to insert the vase in.
In the ground I'd go for day lilies or scented geraniums (as Gardenmaiden suggested). The thing is, if rabbits are hungry, they'll eat just about anything.
Fuchsias are rabbit proof I think. The RHS site has a big list of potentially rabbit proof plants.
