Low Growing plants

Hi Folks can anyone give me any ideas i have tried to enclose a photo my other half has asked me if i can put small growing plants in between the rocks she isint bothered if they flower as long as the foliage is nice 1's that come back year after

    I think some of Verduns choices are good, but try not to use too many different types. 2 or 3 plants repeated will look much better.

    I would go with the Hebes, you can get some really pretty ones with pink/red leaves.

    Alternate with the Phormiums, look lovely, definitely not lavender, IMO. Not everyone can grow it, mine look awful, they hate acid soil and gale force winds.

    It looks very straight and formal and I think grasses may make it look untidy.
