    I'll go for earwigs, as well.   And similar to Alidonne, it is mainly the blue and purple ones which are damaged.   Very frustrating!   I have even got to the stage where I won't plant out those colours into the garden, I keep them for displays in pots, so I can remove them if they are atacked.
