Camellia

My pot grown camellia had lots of buds and seemed fine, then suddenly the leaves started to turn brown and the buds too. Only one bud flowered. Is there any way of saving it?

As well as a lot of watering, a dose of sequestrone perked up my three sad camellias no end.  Which reminds me, they probably need some more by now.

  • Maybe a  lack of watering or over watering.  As DyersEnd  suggests Sequestrone should help as they are an Ericaceous plant  and hate lime soils.

It's planted in ericaclous compost and I've fed it with an ericaceous feed. Have watered it, but it's looking even browner todayimage.

Is drainage hole blocked? one of my plants was dying, compost not too bad on top but roots were sitting in water & rotting. Other thing to look out for is Vine Weevils - found some grubs in one of my pots just yesterday - hate the things!!
