I'd have preferred to plant them about 6 - 8 weeks ago, but they're hardy and should be in their dormant phase - they should be fine as long as they're in a free-draining soil. They should have been planted on little ridges so that the roots slope down away from the crown.
I'd probably give them a good mulching with some well rotted manure or good quality compost to give them a bit more protection and help keep weeds down.

I planted them about two weeks ago in raised beds and planted on little ridges, thought fleece might give extra protection
They ought to be ok but if we get the really cold spell we've been promised fleece won't do any harm and might do some good - just don't let them get soggy. Good luck
