Tree ID please

In our mature garden we have the most beautiful tree. Each spring we get a mass of white 'Pom poms'. Anyone able to tell me what it is please?

    I think it's amelanchier lamarkii -  image

    Definitely one of the amelanchiers - lovely trees and shrubs - good autumn colour as well as pretty spring foliage and blossom. image

    Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
