Very uneven lawn

hi,
we have just moved house and our new lawn is very lumpy and bumpy. I have read some other threads but not sure throwing some top soil over it will level it (think I would need a ton of soil!) does rolling have any great effect? The lawn is 12 x 14 metres!! HELP

I will do a full inspection and let you know! I'm wondering if there is some overgrown landscaping hidden in there too!
