I am growing aubergines in pots in my greenhouse. Will they sprawl or be a bush or should I stake them?

I would stake when needed and when the weather improves and is warm and sunny keep them outside my experience of GH ones is they are devils for attracting whitefly. This year I am growing some that should be ok outdoors when established variety is Ophelia small fruit but plentiful it said on the packet image Hopefully if small fruited they will do well without a long hot summer, which full size need.

  • I am new to aubergines and finding them a bit tricky… my recently transplanted seedlings are wilting terribly. I may have even lost them - not sure yet. I have now protected them with a home made cloche. How large should the plants have been before transferring outside? …. I living in a hot climate so no chance of frost or strong winds. Tomatoes, cucumbers, chillies and basil seem ok so far…. Thanks...
