I have a small wildflower patch on my allotment. Not sure what the attached flower is, these have all seeded from last year. Any ideas?

    Is it radish?

  • Come to think of it, they could be.  Never really though about it until you suggested!  I had a patch of radish nearby, which bolted and then pretty much stayed there until I cleared the raised bed in January.  The stems are pretty woody.

Better get them out, I don't want to damage the other plants around them, there a lovely purple cerinthe growing under that lot.

Could be rocket. Their stems go woody, but the flowers taste good.
