Plants for shady dry areas

I am after a bit of advice. The bottom of my garden is in full shade and has three substantial trees. The soil is very dry. I am wanting to grow some plants around 2metres tall that will thrive here. Any suggestions.

Lots of shrubs will do well in dry shady areas but I would keep them well watered for the first year.

Aucuba japonica, Berberis, Cotoneaster, Spirea, Eleagnus, Sambucus , Hypericum, Leycesteris, Holly.

  • Many thanks I will look into those.
