I'm surprised at the negative comments in this thread re Daphne x transatlantica 'Eternal Fragrance'® BlaFra. [...] I am not finding it a "dull" plant at all.
Well, a year later, I'm afraid I'll have to join the chorus of those forum members who re-named that plant as "Eternal disappointment". My specimen has given me no flowers at all since last Spring, At the moment it is only displaying some new foliage.
My Daphne x transatlantica 'Eternal Fragrance' must have been reading this forum discussion. In reaction to my (and others') disparaging comments and just to prove me wrong it has recently grown more foliage and an abundant crop of flowers.
Thanks @Papi Jo for pointing me toward this thread. As they were a gift, I didn't choose my 'Eternal Fragrance' plants, but I hope I can at least get a few years out of them. They look pretty healthy at the moment 🤞

Hi all,
At the moment my daphne 'eternal fragrance' is splendid, at 90 cm in diameter and 70 cm high. Lovely scent too. I love this plant!
Well done to all of you that managed to grow this so beautifully, unfortunately mine didn't make it.
