I grew several packets of mixed perennials and cottage garden plants last year. As they flower I will gradually post on here the ones that I do not recognise.So for starters:-


Sorry it has only just started flowering but I couldn't wait.

I'd say Anthyllis vulneraria var. coccinea

I agree with nutcutlet, Anthyllis vulneraria, common name kidney vetch. A wildflower but lovely all the same.
Thank you pansyface, nutcutlet and Norfolkdumpling. I googled Anthyllis vulneraria and found it .I think it could be the variety coccinea.
Woops, that is what you said nutcutlet, that will teach me to read the posts properly.
It will be coccinea Fritillary, that describes the redness of it. A. vulneraria is yellow
